Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of LectureXP, an iOS app operated by Pavel Korkodinov.
Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and meet the minimum age requirements that apply to you.
Accounts
Some features require Sign in with Apple or another enabled sign-in method. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity under your account.
The Service
LectureXP helps you import long-form learning content, create searchable transcripts and notes, generate recall questions, ask source-grounded questions, revisit older ideas, track progress, and use optional AI-powered features subject to plan limits and availability.
Subscriptions and Payments
- Premium features may require a paid auto-renewable subscription processed by Apple via In-App Purchase.
- Billing, renewals, trials, cancellation, and refunds are governed by Apple's terms and your Apple ID settings.
- Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- We verify purchases server-side to unlock premium features.
Acceptable Use
- Do not violate laws, platform rules, copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or third-party rights.
- Do not attempt to bypass security, rate limits, subscription checks, or payment verification.
- Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or malicious content.
- Do not misuse AI outputs in illegal, harmful, or deceptive ways.
Third-Party Content and Services
The app may interact with Apple, Supabase, YouTube / Google, AI providers, and other third parties. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control third-party platforms or guarantee their availability.
Your Content
Your notes, links, audio, and learning content remain yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, and display your content solely to provide, secure, and improve the service, including AI processing you request.
AI Output
AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. It is not professional advice. You are responsible for verifying important information before relying on it.
Termination
You may stop using the app or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if needed for legal, security, or operational reasons.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The app and services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Apple-Specific Terms
These Terms are between you and the developer, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms as they relate to your use of the app on Apple platforms.
