Privacy Policy
This policy explains how MendKit: No Contact Tracker handles information used for breakup day counting, no-contact tracking, mood check-ins, journals, hard dates, sealed letters, contact logs and paid access.
Health and Safety
The app is a personal tracker and supportive tool. It is not a medical device, does not provide diagnosis or treatment, and is not a substitute for a therapist, physician, crisis line or emergency service.
Information You May Enter
You may choose to enter personal or sensitive information, including:
- breakup date and last-contact date;
- mood ratings, emotion tags and short mood notes;
- no-contact plan details and contact logs;
- journal entries, drafts, sealed letters and voice-style transcripts;
- hard dates such as birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, shared places or planned trips;
- answers to short reflection flows about urges, social media, sleep, setbacks or other breakup-related moments.
Local Storage
The app stores your breakup tracker, no-contact plan, mood entries, journals, hard dates and contact logs locally on your device using iOS app storage. The app does not create a public profile, public journal, social feed or account-based community.
Deleting the app removes local app data from that device. If you export or share any information outside the app in the future, that copy will be controlled by the destination you choose.
Product Analytics
When analytics sharing is on, MendKit sends product analytics to our Supabase backend to understand feature usage, reliability and purchase flows. The app also supports Amplitude in builds where that service is configured.
Events include an event name, app version, device locale, timestamps, a randomly generated installation identifier and an identifier for each event. The installation identifier links events from the same app installation; these events are pseudonymous, not anonymous. Amplitude, when configured, also receives platform and operating-system information.
Event properties can include feature names and choices, counts, true/false flags, broad mood and emotional-intensity ranges, breakup-day ranges, subscription product identifiers and purchase/restore outcomes, and technical status or error indicators. These properties can describe aspects of your wellbeing and how you use the app.
Product analytics do not include your journal text, sealed-letter text, message drafts, transcripts, audio recordings, names, notes, hard-date titles or no-contact plan text.
You can turn product analytics off in Settings. Further analytics attempts stop while it is off; a request already in progress may finish. Deleting local app data or deleting the app does not automatically delete analytics already sent to a server. For questions about data sent off your device, contact us below.
Voice Transcription
If voice transcription is enabled, audio is sent to a transcription provider such as Deepgram, or to our transcription proxy that forwards the request, only when you choose to record and transcribe a voice journal entry. The returned transcript is saved in your local journal unless you delete it.
If transcription is not configured in a build, voice journal entries remain local and no audio is uploaded for transcription.
StoreKit Purchases
Purchases are handled by Apple through StoreKit. The app may receive product identifiers, entitlement status and transaction status needed to unlock MendKit Plus. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, the app may schedule local reminders for hard dates, preparation flows, day-of support or next-day reflections. Notification content is generated on the device and is not used for advertising.
Tracking, Advertising and Sale of Data
The app does not include advertising SDKs and does not sell personal data. Optional product analytics are used to understand app reliability, feature usage and purchase funnel health. The app does not use your breakup, mood, journal or contact data to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies.
Safety Detection
The app may check text you type into journals or flows for urgent safety language, such as self-harm, suicide, abuse or immediate danger. This is used to show crisis and safety resources. In the current version, this check is performed locally in the app.
Children
The app is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact support.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. If data practices materially change, the policy and App Store privacy information should be updated.

MendKit хранит дневник, письма, план личных границ, отметки настроения и журнал контактов на устройстве. Эти локальные записи не являются публичным профилем или лентой сообщества.
Если аналитика включена, приложение отправляет события в наш сервис на Supabase. В сборках, где отдельно настроен Amplitude, события могут передаваться и в этот сервис. Они нужны для анализа использования функций, стабильности и покупок.
События содержат название действия, версию приложения, язык и регион устройства, время, случайный идентификатор установки и идентификатор события. Идентификатор установки связывает события одной установки между собой: это псевдонимные, а не анонимные данные. При использовании Amplitude также передаются сведения об операционной системе.
Свойства событий могут включать выбранные функции и варианты действий, счётчики, признаки да/нет, диапазоны настроения и эмоциональной интенсивности, диапазон дней после расставания, идентификаторы подписок, результаты покупки или восстановления доступа и технические статусы. Тексты дневника, писем, сообщений, расшифровок, заметок и плана, названия сложных дат, имена и аудиозаписи не передаются в продуктовую аналитику.
Аналитику можно выключить в настройках. Пока она выключена, новые попытки отправки не выполняются; уже начатый запрос может завершиться. Удаление приложения или локальных записей не удаляет автоматически ранее отправленные события с сервера.
Голосовая расшифровка — отдельная необязательная функция: при её использовании аудио передаётся в Deepgram или через наш сервер-посредник, а полученный текст сохраняется в локальном дневнике. Покупки обрабатывает Apple; полные реквизиты банковской карты приложение не получает.
