These Terms govern your use of TickBug and related services.

Use of the App

TickBug provides general information about ticks, bites, stings, risk signals, removal guidance, journaling, and symptom-watch reminders. You are responsible for the photos, notes, and profile information you create or save.

Medical and Veterinary Disclaimer

TickBug is not a medical device, veterinary device, diagnosis, treatment recommendation, emergency service, or replacement for professional advice. Results can be incomplete or inaccurate. Always contact a doctor, veterinarian, poison control center, or emergency services when appropriate.

Subscriptions

Some features may require a paid subscription, such as unlimited scans, reminders, and household profiles. Subscriptions are charged to your Apple ID and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings. Free trials and offers, when available, are shown in the app before purchase.

Apple's standard End User License Agreement applies to TickBug unless a separate written agreement is provided: Apple Standard EULA.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to bypass limits or subscription checks, upload unlawful content, interfere with our services, scrape or reverse engineer the app, or use the app for safety-critical decisions.

Availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Recognition, subscriptions, and remote services may depend on Apple or third-party infrastructure and may be unavailable or delayed.

Disclaimer

The app is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, personal injury, veterinary expenses, medical decisions, loss of data, incorrect results, or third-party service decisions.

Changes

We may update these Terms when the app changes. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
