Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Race Pacer ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use the Race Pacer iOS and Apple Watch app. Race Pacer helps athletes create race pacing plans, track race segments on Apple Watch, review results, and manage an optional Pro subscription.

Information Stored on Your Device
Race plans, race results, segment splits, transition timing, history, onboarding state, and app preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not operate an account system for Race Pacer, and we do not upload your race plans or race results to our own server.
Apple Health and Workout Data
The Apple Watch app may request permission to read heart rate during race tracking and to save workouts to Apple Health. Health data is handled through Apple's HealthKit permission system. Race Pacer uses this data only to show heart rate during a race and to support workout tracking features you start. Health data is not sent to us, sold, used for advertising, or used for tracking.
Product Analytics
Race Pacer collects limited product analytics to understand whether core features work and where the app needs improvement. Analytics are sent to our Supabase project and are not linked to your identity.
Analytics may include:
- a random installation identifier generated on your device;
- basic app events, such as app open, plan saved, live race started, race completed, analyzer used, share card created, paywall viewed, or purchase restored;
- small feature properties, for example division, sex, target minutes, total race minutes, transition share percentage, or purchased product identifier.
We do not use analytics for third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or data resale.
Purchases and Subscriptions
Race Pacer Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple handles payment details and subscription management. Race Pacer receives subscription entitlement status from Apple so the app can unlock Pro features. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Support Email
If you email us for support, we receive the information you choose to include in that email, such as your email address, message, and any screenshots or logs you send. We use this only to respond to your request and improve the app.
Children
Race Pacer is not directed to children under the age where parental consent is required in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from such children.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as Race Pacer changes. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
